1. Tell us why you joined Zipongo.
I joined Zipongo because I believe in the company’s mission to support, inspire and guide people to living a healthier and happier way of life through food. I believe Zipongo is opening people’s minds to the possibility that simple healthy food choices can drive creativity, performance and wellness! Additionally, a dynamic team of individuals with top-notch talent supports Zipongo. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with these amazing individuals while helping others achieve their wellness goals.
2. What are you most proud of, personal or career-wise?
I had the honor of supporting our men and women in uniform on a nine-day military appreciation tour to Afghanistan with Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon. This tour was particularly special for me because I got to celebrate my birthday with some amazing Americans, protecting our freedoms. The tour was a life changing experience and gave me a greater appreciation for our military and their sacrifices.
3. What’s your favorite restaurant in the city?
I’m a big fan of farm-to-table, organic and sustainable restaurants. Some of my favorite spots in San Francisco are Seed + Salt, The Plant, Flour + Water and Octavia.
4. Can you share something that ranks high on your bucket list?
I’d like to visit the End of the Earth… aka Antarctica. Not only does its natural beauty amaze me but also it’s full of my favorite animals: penguins!
